You have likely seen the advertisements for Go to My PC which is a service whereby you can access your computer via a web browser. Once you log in, your desktop appears and you can do everything as you would physically sitting at the keyboard. But, there is a monthly fee for the service.
A better alternative is www.logmein.com which provides the same service for a single user. I have been a freeloader for over a year and it is a terrific service.
